1) Limited Warranty Coverage: Bamboo Mountain has been supplying top quality bamboo flooring to the industry since 1997, and offers superior products teamed with limited warranties that are among the best in the bamboo flooring industry. Bamboo Mountain warrants the structural integrity of all bamboo flooring sold, and the finish for all prefinished floors whose finish was applied in our factory. This warranty extends to the original buyer or purchaser of the bamboo flooring during the Limited Warranty period, and covers both residential and commercial applications as described in the Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty offered by Bamboo Mountain is void if defects occur due to failure to follow our installation and maintenance guide, or failure to follow the terms set forth in the Limited Warranty.

(2) Structural Warranty: Bamboo Mountain warrants against plank delamination for 25 years. This pertains to bamboo flooring purchased and installed for normal residential and commercial use. Bamboo Mountain warrants that the flooring sold under this warranty is, at the time of purchase, free from manufacturing, milling, structural, and material defects. Bamboo Mountain also warrants that the bamboo flooring sold under this warranty fully meets Bamboo Mountain product specifications for the product sold, and that the product meets or exceeds Bamboo Mountain quality standards. Bamboo Mountain warrants that, when professionally installed, maintained as recommended per Bamboo Mountain instructions, and when used for its intended purpose, the flooring will not delaminate, buckle, warp, or separate due to a manufacturing or structural defect for 25 years from the date of purchase. Bamboo Mountain does not warrant against plank defects arising from improper installation of the flooring, moisture problems as a result of wet mopping, subfloor moisture, exposure to a water source, rain, and excessive moisture exposure; and exposure to excessive heat, dryness, or inconsistent structure temperatures; events of nature such as floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, fires; or movement or settlement of the structure in which the flooring is attached to.

(3) Finish Warranty: For all bamboo flooring sold with a factory applied finish, “prefinished”, Bamboo Mountain states that the factory applied finish on the bamboo flooring, at the time of sale, free from defects in finish material and application, and that it conforms to Bamboo Mountain’s normal specifications for the finish on the flooring sold. Bamboo Mountain warrants that if, and only if, the bamboo flooring is maintained per Bamboo Mountain maintenance instructions, and is used for its intended purpose, the factory applied finish will not wear through to the actual underlying bamboo flooring, or separate from the underlying bamboo flooring as a result of a manufacturing finish defect for twenty (20) years from the date of sale for bamboo flooring used in a residential application. Bamboo flooring used for commercial applications has a finish warranty of five (5) years. Bamboo Mountain is not responsible, and does not warrant against scratches, finish sheen reduction, or damage to the finish as caused by the following: Improper installation methods. The Bamboo Mountain installation instructions must be followed as a condition and prerequisite for the warranties to have effect. All installation instructions may be obtained by contacting Bamboo Mountain directly via the Bamboo Mountain website, the phone numbers, the fax numbers, or by sending an e-mail request with “Installation Information request” in the subject line to ; The factory applied finish can be damaged by the following, and Bamboo Mountain does not warrant against protection from the following: maintenance neglect, abuse, neglect, misuse, abnormal use, negligence, the application of solvents, corrosives, or chemicals to the finish and/or flooring; fading, damage, or color change as a result of sun exposure or a covering over the floor, spike heeled shoes, unprotected furniture legs and pieces, dirt, sand, rocks, and other objects considered to be abrasive; Insect infestation after shipment from the Bamboo Mountain warehouse; Stains and finishes applied to the flooring other than the factory applied finish and/or stain coats; Modifications or alterations that change flooring from its original manufactured state; Moisture problems as a result of wet mopping, subfloor moisture, exposure to a water source, rain, and excessive moisture exposure; and exposure to excessive heat, dryness, or inconsistent structure temperatures; Events of nature such as floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, fires; Movement or settlement of the structure in which the flooring is attached to; Variations in color, grain, and markings existing in the bamboo flooring when purchased and after installation. Since bamboo is a natural product, such variation evident in bamboo is considered normal and an attribute of the product. Included is color variation of deviation over time due to varied exposure to sunlight or Ultraviolet rays and/or light; Installation of bamboo flooring with visible defects; The installation of bamboo flooring over radiant floor heating with a surface temperature in excess of 85°F;

(4) Limited Warranty Claims: You must notify Bamboo Mountain in writing if your bamboo floor purchased from Bamboo Mountain meets the conditions for warranty protection and warranty claims within thirty (30) days after learning or the discovery of the possibility of a defect. Include all necessary information, such as the location, description, and characteristics of the defect. Also include the original invoice, bill, or other proof of the date of purchase, a written statement, pictures, and professional inspection reports (if applicable). The owner must give Bamboo Mountain a reasonable and sufficient to examine the warranty claim and the defective bamboo flooring before proceeding with any outside repairs, removal, or replacement done by any agent other than Bamboo Mountain. The owner must fully comply with the requirements and conditions set forth in the Limited Warranty including this paragraph for coverage under the Limited Warranty. If the requirements set forth are not complied, Bamboo Mountain will be released of any obligations to remedy and/or correct the defect.

(5) Warranty Remedies and Corrections: After receiving all warranty claim related materials, within a reasonable time Bamboo Mountain will remedy and correct all defects as described in the warranty claim by providing, at its option, one of the following: repair and correction of any defective flooring (for defects in finish, corrective action will involve refinishing the affected planks), Bamboo Mountain will replace any structurally defective planks with non defective planks. Bamboo Mountain will supply the material only, and assumes no liability for the costs involved with removal and reinstallation, replacement any defective flooring not yet installed, refund of the purchase price for the area of the defective flooring to be calculated as the percentage of the defective area of the entire Bamboo Mountain bamboo flooring area installed, multiplied by the purchase price and the remaining percentage remaining of the limited warranty period at the time Bamboo Mountain is notified, as stated above, of the defective pieces.

Disclaimer or Implied Limited Warranties:
The terms described by the Limited Warranty provide the exclusive warranty remedies available to the purchaser of the defective bamboo flooring. This Limited Warranty supersedes any other representation that is not stated or described herein. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, so this disclaimer may not apply to you if you reside in such a state.

Exclusion of Incidental and Consequential Damages:
IN NO EVENT SHALL BAMBOO MOUNTAIN INTERNATIONAL INCORPORATED BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ALLEGEDLY DUE TO THE MISUSE, USE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT DUE TO PRODUCT DEFECTS, OR FROM NONDELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT.

Maintenance
Many objects and agents can damage the floor. Bamboo Mountain is not responsible for any damage done to the floor from abrasive elements such as furniture, animals, heavy objects, and any finish problems arising from maintenance neglect. To prevent scratching, felt pads must be placed under the legs of all furniture pieces. We recommended clipping the toe-nails of pets to help prevent them from scratching the floor. Cleaning the floor weekly with a cleaner deemed safe for prefinished hardwood floors is recommended. The floor should be regularly sweeped with a soft bristle broom or dry mopped with a soft mop head. Vacuum cleaners can be used only when the appropriate hardwood floor attachments are installed.
